Aude Marie, Knitwear Textile Designer, was born in 1984 in the French region of Normandy.
In 2005 she graduated from the ENSAAMA de Paris in Textile Design (BTS), after which she continued her studies in England at the Central Saint Martins College of London, where she specialized in knitting.
After obtaining her BA (HONS) with First Class in 2008, Aude began her freelance career and she has since gone on to participate in several exhibitions in Europe.
Returning to her native country in 2010 Aude settled in Paris, where she combines working in her studio with teaching, developing her personal projects, and collaborating with artists and a range of fashion, accessories, and interior brands.
Aude works in chunky knit, creating curious objects often characterised by the use of warm colours. Never lacking in humour and imagination, her creations accessorise furniture and interiors with originality and a sense of wonder.
Aude’s creative universe is inspired by her childhood spent by the sea and deep in the Normandy countryside, and memories of this closeness to nature and the brilliant colours of Van Gogh, Gauguin and David Hockney infuse her work.
